Improvements to the requests for TexFlex debit card validations are coming soon

WageWorks is improving the requests for TexFlex debit card validations starting December 8, 2018:

  • you will receive an email for each transaction requiring additional information in order to validate,
  • the email will have a direct link to the TexFlex website and the transaction that needs your attention, and
  • once you are logged in, the new process will provide clear instructions for any transaction(s) that needs your attention, and what documentation is required in order to validate.

Per the TexFlex card suspension process, you must provide appropriate documentation or your TexFlex debit card could be suspended. Examples of appropriate documentation include a detailed receipt or Explanation of Benefits. If you receive a request to validate your debit card transactions, you can also refer to “How to Validate Your TexFlex Card Swipe”.

Additional security feature added to TexFlex account registration

To enhance the security of the TexFlex website and protect participant information, WageWorks recently changed the TexFlex online registration process

New users must now enter a registration code when creating an online account at

Only new participants and current TexFlex participants who do not have an online account will need to enter a registration code when they register online.

TexFlex participants who DO NOT have an email address on file with WageWorks will be prompted to contact you, the benefits coordinator, for the TexFlex general registration code they will need to complete their online registration.

Login to the BCCG and see the TexFlex general registration code in the BCRM, Chapter 3 – TexFlex, 3.71 – Signing up for TexFlex. You can also call the TexFlex Administration Team at WageWorks (866) 878-4472.

TexFlex participants who DO have an email address on file will receive an email with a registration code from WageWorks and will not need to obtain a code from you. This emailed code will be unique to each participant and will expire if not used within 24 hours.

The new procedure does not affect TexFlex participants who have already completed the online registration process.
